PowerFAIDS®

Discussion Lists

Benefit from the expertise, education, and experience of your colleagues who use PowerFAIDS! We maintain two discussion lists for PowerFAIDS users. In addition to having informative discussions with colleagues, when you subscribe you will automatically receive our announcements about PowerFAIDS releases and other current issues.

You can use our Web-based interface to join or leave either list, administer your own subscription settings and password, and search for or review archived messages.

  • PFAIDSforum is for financial aid administrators and features discussions of PowerFAIDS functional features and financial aid-related topics. Subscribe to Pfaidsforum

  • PFAIDStech is for information technology personnel who want to discuss issues related to installation, maintenance, network issues, upgrades, and service patches. Financial aid-related issues are not discussed on this list. Subscribe to Pfaidstech

You will receive an e-mail from the list manager when your subscription is approved; you will then be able to post messages to the list.

We post official announcements about PowerFAIDS to both lists using the e-mail address pfsupport@collegeboard.org so that you can quickly identify official messages from anyone on the PowerFAIDS team and distinguish them from the general discussion.

Looking for a recent announcement from the PowerFAIDS Team? Browse a listing of announcements posted by our staff to PFAIDSForum and PFAIDSTech.

List Guidelines

Both lists are closed lists and are intended for the use of currently licensed PowerFAIDS users only. All information distributed on either list is the property of the College Board. Information posted to the list may not be shared beyond the members of the list. We request that all messages remain professional, courteous and relevant to PowerFAIDS or issues relating to financial aid.

Please refrain from posting virus alerts unless you can verify their authenticity. The Computer Incident Advisory Center maintains a list of known hoaxes.
