The first step in troubleshooting any problem is to check for common causes of errors.

• Make sure you have installed the latest PowerFAIDS release and any service patches. 
• Browse our list of Known Issues.
• Check the Library, where you can view or download documentation.
• Browse our list of Frequently Asked Questions.
• Search the discussion list archives for information.
• Review the current hardware specifications to ensure that your equipment meets the requirements. 
• If you have recently installed new software or have changed other system configuration settings, try uninstalling the software or restoring your original settings.
